The salamander animal totem is an amphibian that has close symbolic ties with the element of water. As a water-dwelling creature, it emulates flowing motion, transformation, and sharp intuition. We can easily detect these qualities simply by observing it in nature.

NB: Older Huichol work may show some common signs of ageing such as missing beads or fading. In order to maintain your Huichol in good condition for many years, keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. To clean, simply use a damp kitchen towel when needed.
